The Ardmore Water Department is working diligently to get water service restored to Ardmore. We recently identified an issue that was causing a problem between our system and the Limestone County Water Authority. This issue effects the Limestone Water Authority’s ability to get the water tank filled that supplies Ardmore. Upon identifying the issue, the Ardmore Water Authority began working immediately to correct the issue. This work is ongoing, and the issue should be corrected today.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience the lack of water has caused our citizens. We continue to work on finding alternative emergency water sources for our town, but this is not a quick nor easy process. We will continue to work with both State and Local elected leaders to find a solution for this problem. We appreciate your patience as we work on this issue and assure you that getting water restored to Ardmore is our number one priority.
